TV film that reconstructs the historical Vaccine Expedition, who transports the smallpox vaccine to the American continent to prevent the spread of a serious epidemic. To do this, Francisco Xavier Balmis, doctor Carlos IV, devised a system so revolutionary as risky: successively inoculate the virus to 22 young children to keep it cool on a journey of nearly three months.
